The Wildcats need to watch out for these two Georgia Bulldogs

The Kentucky Wildcats are set to host the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday. 

Georgia comes into this ball game 3-1 in SEC play with wins over Arkansas, Missouri, and South Carolina. The Bulldogs played the Tennessee Volunteers close and had a late lead but ended up losing 85-79. Georgia has been a pleasant surprise in conference play, but statistically, the Bulldogs aren't very special. Georgia is not a top 50 team in any stat so it's hard to really know what makes this team stand out. 

The one constant for Georgia has been the play of their two main scorers. Jabri Abdur-Rahim is the team's leading scorer, averaging 12.8 points per game. Noah Thomasson is right on his tail, averaging 12.4 points per game. Abdur-Rahim shoots 41.5% from deep, while Thomasson shoots 36.4%. These two talented Bulldogs guards can shoot, and Kentucky has struggled to defend the guard position. Abdur-Rahim is listed as a guard but is 6'8 eight, so it will be interesting to see who will be tasked with guarding him. Georgia has two players who start listed as guards but are 6'8, so this is a bigger team. This Georgia team matches up well size-wise with Kentucky, making this an interesting basketball game. 

Coach John Calipari has been talking about how players need to defend, or he will "play someone else." Coach Cal isn't saying that as a threat. He really means this team needs defense, and he will play whoever is providing it. 

Kentucky should win this game, but Georgia is playing good basketball, and the Wildcats need to be prepared.
