Georgia Bulldogs injury report ahead of G-Day, 4/10/24
Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Georgia football's "G-Day" is set for Saturday, but the Bulldogs will be without some familiar faces for their annual spring scrimmage due to injury issues.

The Bulldogs remain largely unscathed on the offensive side of the ball at this point in the offseason, but have lost some key players on defense. Obviously, there's plenty of time ahead of the season to get these players back to full capacity, but it will mean missing the spring game for some of them.

Three defensive members between safety Malaki Starks, linebacker Smael Mondon and defensive lineman Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins will all be non-participants. Starks underwent surgery after the Orange Bowl, while Mondon and Ingram-Dawkins both continue to recover from foot surgery.

Here's a look at where Georgia stands on the injury front with the weekend looming not so far away now:

Offense

  • OL Bo Hughley (shoulder), OUT
  • RB Branson Robinson (patella tendon), OUT
  • QB Ryan Puglisi (lower-body), doubtful

Defense

  • LB Kris Jones (knee), questionable
  • S Malaki Starks (shoulder), OUT
  • LB Smael Mondon (foot), OUT
  • DL Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins (foot), OUT
