Kamari Lassiter Talks Why He's Playing and NFL Draft Decision

The Georgia football program has officially touched down in the state of Florida ahead of their matchup in the Orange Bowl against Florida State. During Wednesday's media availability, several players and coaches had the opportunity to talk about the game and any potential future decisions that some of them will have to make. Defensive back Kamari Lassiter is one of them and he shared some important news about himself.

Lassiter made it known that he will be playing in the Orange Bowl on Saturday and that he has not yet come to a decision about the NFL draft. Lassiter is considered to be a potential first-round pick in the 2024 NFL draft if he declares. His teammate Javon Bullard also announced on Tuesday that he will also be playing in the game and has also not yet arrived at a decision regarding the NFL draft.

Florida State has been the complete opposite of Georgia leading up to the bowl game. The Seminoles have had a litany of players opt out of the game and declare for the NFL draft, and some have even entered the transfer portal and elected not to play in the game. As a result of some of the latest decisions, there has been some movement in the betting line lately, as Georgia looks like they will be close to full strength by game time.
