Rob Schumacher/The Republic / USA TODAY NETWORK

On January 13th, Diamondbacks’ Corbin Carroll will be partaking in a free D-backs’ Nike Jr. clinic, where he will spend time with aspiring baseball and softball players.

Partnered with the Boys and Girls Clubs, anyone between the ages of 6 and 12 is encouraged to participate. Once again, the event is free to attend.

With Corbin Carroll’s guidance, kids will have the opportunity to be taught the key fundamentals of the sport that they love. All participants will be dressed in a D-backs hat, Nike shirt, and either a Wilson or Rawlings glove.

This event will take place from 10 a.m. – noon at Gilbert Branch, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley, which can be found at 44 N. Oak. St., Gilbert, AZ 85233.

Focusing on teaching kids to “learn to play the D-backs way,” this event is an excellent opportunity for valley youth to learn from one of the best in the game.
